Aimed at young professionals that work in Northamptonshire, the inaugural event was held in December at The Church Restaurant in the town centre and was a great success with over twenty attendees. Keep the manuals of your heating/cooling systems and control devices in a safe place. Present these to your assessor upon arrival with any other relevant info, such as air pressure test reports etc.
Ensure that no Tungsten bulbs (this includes halogens) are being used and where they are change to Compact Fluorescents before the EPC survey.
Ensure a person who knows about the property being surveyed is present when the EPC assessor visits.
Find out when the property was constructed.
Finally make sure that access to all areas of the building is provided to the assessor.

Obviously these are very easy and cheap ways to improve your energy performance rating but if you would like to discuss your property in more detail, please get in touch.
